JULIE CHRISTIANSEN, PRESIDENT of BRC: Julie has presented on various Anger Solutions topics throughout Canada and the Caribbean. Since receiving her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and English from the University of Ottawa, Julie has worked with people with mental illness, brain injury, multiple diagnoses, with cross-disability groups and at-risk youth. This diverse background complements Julie's ability to develop practical and effective interventions and Anger Solutions techniques, as well as her skill at tailoring her program content to meet the needs of a diverse audience.
Julie brings her diverse range of experience and skill to your boardroom. Branded as “Oprah for the Office” by some of her clients, Julie educates and entertains her audiences, leaving them with sustainable strategies for effecting lasting change. While she has been compared to the likes of Brian Tracy and Jack Canfield, Julie has an energetic, humourous, and insightful style that is all her own. Julie has successfully merged her career as a counselor/coach with her passion for helping teams attain peak performance and productivity through enhanced communication models. Her aim is to help her clients to attain optimized Workplace Efficiency, with a focus on team development, communication, anger and stress management. Julie developed the Anger Solutions program over a period of approximately four years (1994-1998) of practice and research, and has facilitated Anger Solutions training programs throughout Ontario for over 150 various service providers and agencies. Julie is certified in the Psychiatric Rehabilitation model, and has received specialized training in addictions counseling, bereavement counseling, anger management, crisis and suicide intervention, and neurobehavioral rehabilitation.
